Situations in which to avoid a session

Do not use a session while driving, operating machinery, intoxicated or responsible for something that needs your full attention. The service is for adults aged 18 or older.

Avoid using the application during a crisis or to investigate, diagnose or dismiss a new symptom. The application does not monitor you or provide emergency support.

When professional advice matters

The NHS cautions that hypnotherapy may be unsafe for people with schizophrenia, a history of psychosis or epilepsy. Seek advice from a qualified health professional about suitability instead of relying on an app’s screening result.

Relaxation can also provoke distress or unwanted thoughts. Stop if this happens. Do not delay, stop or change prescribed care because of a session.

New or concerning symptoms need assessment

For headache, NICE lists warning signs that warrant assessment, including sudden severe onset, new neurological symptoms and a worsening headache with fever. A relaxation script cannot rule out serious causes.

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Use appropriate medical care for symptoms rather than continuing a session.

Limits of the application’s checks

Required questions and automated checks can block some unsuitable requests. They cannot establish that a session is safe or effective for you. Practitioner books inform techniques; they do not validate this product.

The app has not been clinically evaluated. A fluent script is not medical advice. Qualified clinical review and native-Arabic review of the service remain pending.
